sewin' n' shtuff...

Here are a few projects I've been working on these last few months. Since being impregnated, my sewing has slowed down immensely! Im taking a "clothing construction" class at MCC this summer (just a month) but it's two days a week for 3 hours a night! Im sure I'll be sewed out by then but Im excited to be better trained at my so called "skill!"



I don't know why I didn't take a better shot of just the blanket, but this one is one of my favorites to date. It's the first decal I've sewn on a blanket and Dustin drew this bird up for me, I love it!

I also used the same decal for a matching onsie with a different print. This is before I appliqued it on

with this blanket I used a new mink because Joanns was out of the dottie one. It's alot thicker so I did'nt put a border on it. I really liked it, it was oober soft and fairly easy to work with.

My first mini nugget outfit. The skirt is pretty full, I tried it on Saylee's cabbage patch doll but I still couldn't imagine it on a little baby girl! I can't wait to actually see it on the new addition to the Hon Family, Tiffany's baby girl Taylee Rae.
